Legal & Policy

Privacy & Terms

Last Updated: January 2024. Please read this carefully before enrolling.

1. No Refund Policy

codingnovas operates on a strict NO REFUND policy.

Once a payment is made (whether full or installment), a seat is allocated to you, and resources are deployed immediately. We cannot reverse this process.

By paying, you acknowledge that:

  • You have reviewed the curriculum and schedule.
  • You understand the commitment required (10-20 hours/week).
  • You agree that all fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

2. Payments & Verification

We currently use a manual verification system via UPI and WhatsApp.

  • Manual Verification: Your enrollment is not confirmed until you share the payment screenshot and receiving a confirmation message from our official WhatsApp support number.
  • Fraudulent Transactions: Submitting fake or manipulated screenshots will result in an immediate ban from the platform and potential legal action.
  • Installments: If you opt for the EMI plan, failure to pay subsequent installments on time will result in immediate revocation of access to the course, community, and resources. No refunds will be given for partial payments.

3. Data Collection & Usage

We collect minimal data required to deliver the course. We do not sell your data.

  • Phone Number: Required for adding you to the exclusive WhatsApp/Discord community and for urgent cohort updates (e.g., class rescheduling).
  • Email: Used for sending calendar invites, resource links, and internship offer letters.
  • Payment Proofs: Stored securely for accounting and tax purposes.

4. Internship & Placement Disclaimer

While we provide a "Guaranteed Internship Opportunity," this is contingent on your performance:

  • You must complete 80% of assignments to unlock the internship.
  • The internship is a performance-based role. Poor conduct or lack of effort may result in termination of the internship.
  • We provide referral assistance, not a legal guarantee of a full-time job. Hiring decisions depend entirely on external companies and your interview performance.

5. Code of Conduct

We maintain a professional engineering environment. You may be removed from the cohort (without refund) for:

  • Harassment or abusive behavior towards mentors or peers.
  • Sharing paid course materials/links with non-students (Piracy).
  • Consistent disruption of live classes.
